The Lord was my Shepherd, I shouldn't have wanted.
He made me to live down in sweet slumber.
He led me by His still small voice,
He filled my soul.
He helped me keep His Commandments for Jesus' sake.
Yea, though I walked near temptation
And in the shadow of trouble,
I feared no evil,
For He was with me.
His Word, and Prayer, they comforted me.
He strengthened me in the face of the very Devil.
He (The Devil) anointed my head with the oil of
sadness.
Surly sorrow and trouble shall haunt me,
And I shall continue to be an outcast
From the Garden of Peace forever.
