JUST
THINKING

As I lie here on
my hospital bed,
I think of how I
could have been dead!
But since I ain't,
I guess I won't
I pray Thee,
Lord, I don't, don't, don't!
I thought myself
dead, 'till I found I could talk,
and crippled for
life 'till I found I could walk!
You weren't there
so don't say you could-a--
If it hadn't been
me, do you think I would-a--
I needed a rest
that I just wouldn't take,
So to lie in
green pastures, the Lord did me make!
When I think of
His goodness, mercy and love,
I know that God
still rules from above.
Sometimes we
forget that Jesus is King,
and try our hand
at running the thing.
But God has His
way and His time all set,
To help us
remember the things we forget.
So keep a song in
your heart
and a prayer on
your lips
For no broken
feet--
and dislocated
hips
