When our children live with hostility,

the learn to fight.

When our children live with shame,

they learn to feel bad.

When our children live with tolerance

they learn to be patient.

When we teach our children with encouragement,

they learn confidence.

When we praise our children,

they learn to appreciate.

When we teach our children to be fair,

they learn justice.

When we make our children secure,

they learn to have faith.

When we give our children our sincere approval,

they learn to like themselves.

When we give our children love, acceptance and friendship,

they learn to find love within our nation and in the world.

When we teach them of the Lord,

they should be angels?
